Personnel with specific skills are used when large products are developed using the structured approach. Describe the tasks performed by: systems analysts, programmers, and software testers. 2. Historically, the structured approach was the recommended method for developing software. Describe reasons why this is no longer the case. 3. Outline the Prototype approach to software development and propose an example project where this approach would be appropriate. 4. Propose the steps you would take to develop software which records a user’s personal budget information and tells them how much they can save. You will be using Microsoft Excel and an end-user approach. 5. Recall the primary advantages and disadvantages between the four major types of development approaches; structured, prototype, rapid development, end-user.
