Year 11 Physics World Communicates Investigation Preliminary Physics, Assessment Task 2 Due: 19 July (T3W1) Physics Assessment 2 Description of Task The Wyong Shire Council has requested that you make a recommendation as to whether they should allow the construction of a new 3G mobile phone tower on the grounds of Technology High School. The tower will bring $5,000 per annum revenue to the school. In order to do this you will have to investigate the health risk posed by mobile towers. The council requires a 1500 word report containing the following sections: • • • • Executive Summary Introduction Evidence Conclusion Marking Guideline 5 Complete All required sections of the report are included. Science The relevant technology is explained in terms of your understanding of physics. Evidence Enough good quality evidence to support the recommendation. A summary and reference for each piece of evidence. Recommendation Is supported and well justified by the presented evidence. Appearance Word processed, easy to read and follow.
